Foreign Trade and Customer Relations Manager

We are looking for a Foreign Trade and Customer Relations Manager in order to manage, organize, follow and report the processes of all trade affairs conducted with existing and potential, domestic and foreign customers operating at home and abroad. The position directly reports to the GM and is located in Sancaktepe, İstanbul. 

QUALIFICATIONS

- In-depth knowledge on “glass” products
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Economics or equal
- Minimum 5 years of experience in International Procurement, Sales and Customer Relations Management on construction materials, particularly the glass
- Knowledge of Foreign Trade, Import, Export, Customs process and legislation
- Excellent command of English
- Strong knowledge of MS Office applications and Logo software
- Leadership skills and ability to establish communication between peers and subordinates, as well as to explore the latest business strategies
- Presentation and persuasion skills
- Ability to work in busy environment in a fast and result-oriented way
- No obstacle to travel

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities About Procurement and Import 

- To plan all purchasing requests of the company in the field of domestic sales and foreign trade in accordance with company targets and strategies and to manage the purchasing process
- Researching and finding alternative sources of supply
- To provide the desired quality under the most suitable conditions
- Carrying out supplier relations
- To do price research and analysis
- Carrying out invoice controls 
- Responsibility to follow up the orders in the supplier
- Management of the team and business processes with a focus on operational and financial efficiency
- Establishing and developing the purchasing quality cost balance
- Stock and warehouse management

Responsibilities About Domestic Sales and Export

- Develop and maintain existing and potential customer portfolio, manage the sales oriented Trade and Customer Relations processes,
- Analyze and report the existing and potential risks, opportunities and competition in domestic and international market,
- Build (with the new ones) and maintain (with existing ones) relationships with clients
- Reach out to potential clients to offer them the products of the company and sell the items of the company
- Meet the sales goals of the department
- Report the sales results to GM
- Follow up & complete all documental and operational work of the clients
- Prepare payment plans for the clients 
- Manage the weekly department meetings and monthly business results meeting
- Search and maintain contact with the national and international related sector exhibitions
- Organize participation to the national and international trade exhibitions, organize business trips
- Coordinate and be a bridge with all the departments, in particular with the warehouse , logistics&export, accounting and finance.
